SEE | Youth political leaders ask young people to vote

JOHANNESBURG – We’re a week away from making our mark and some are still wondering where to put that X.

A study by the Ichikowitz Family Foundation found that fewer than half of all young voters are likely to vote. They cite corruption, high unemployment, crime and poverty for their apathy.

But in the face of such important challenges, the active participation of young people in the 2024 elections is crucial. Youth engagement can lead to the introduction of new perspectives and new solutions to these pressing problems.

ENCA analyzed the plans of the young youth leaders. ACDP youth leader Prudence Mabasa and ANC youth leader Fasiha Hassan held a conversation with eNCA’s Dan Moyane.
