COALITION NATION | ANC runs out of options as EFF’s ‘arrogant’ stance paralyzes talks

Talks between the ANC and EFF have stalled and no further meetings are scheduled ahead of Friday’s crucial first session of Parliament, where the president, president and deputy president will be elected.

Political parties across the spectrum have been called to meetings with the ANC over the past week in their bid to form a national unity government. The marathon talks have been held in person and virtually.

The ANC has even met with parties that have the least representation in Parliament.
