High pressure holds for a few more days, but a big change returns to New Zealand on Sunday and Monday with cold fronts, wintry weather in the south and an opening for much lower pressure over the New Zealand area during the week and the following weekend.

Meanwhile, most places will be warmer than average for a few more days.
