Delegation of 76 Pakistani business companies to visit Ethiopia –

Addis Ababa, May 23, 2024 (Addis Walta) A delegation of 76 Pakistani business companies is expected to visit Ethiopia from May 26 to 31, 2024 as part of the second business and trade delegation to the country.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Nebiyu Tedla, in his weekly briefing indicated that the visit of the delegation of these prominent business companies and firms is aimed at exploring trade and investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

Pakistan’s trade and investment delegation is scheduled to visit Bole Lemi, Qilinto and Adama industrial parks, which are potential investment avenues for companies.

Furthermore, Ambassador Nebiyu indicated that a three-day Ethiopian-Pakistan Business Forum, organized in collaboration with the Ethiopian Investment Commission, will be held in Addis Ababa.
The Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad played a key role in organizing the event as part of Ethiopia’s economic diplomacy efforts.

According to the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, business and trade delegations from various cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Sheikhupura will participate in the event.
