Gardaí at scene on M50, traffic lights out, major roadworks on Northside Road and Port Tunnel causing delays

Gardaí are attending an incident on the M50 northbound after junction 6, Blanchardstown.

The incident occurred shortly before 8:00 this morning and took place on the shoulder. Delays of 15 minutes are expected at Exit 9, Red Cow.

A collision occurred on the roundabout on the M50 slip road J13 – Dundrum (southbound) at 8.10am There was also an accident on the M4/N4 between J01 – N4/M50 and J02 – Liffey (westbound) reported at 8:14 a.m. Delays are expected in both areas.

Due to an ESB fault in the area, several traffic lights are out of service in the Coolock/Dublin 5 area.

The ESB power outage is expected to be resolved in the next two hours.

Meanwhile, major roadworks on a busy north city center street and in the Dublin Tunnel are causing delays.

In Drumcondra, major roadworks are already underway on Dorset Street at Binns Bridge.

There is a closed lane at each entrance. With expected delays.

The toll gate on the right as you exit the Dublin Tunnel is now closed for maintenance and will remain closed for two weeks.

The right exit door remains closed.

There are also delays on the M50 before junction 6 southbound.

Routes approaching Dublin (M4 E, N7 E) are also experiencing delays.
