Telecommunications and mobile phone company join forces for digital inclusion in Tanzania

DAR ES SALAAM: Vodacom Tanzania and Samsung Tanzania have jointly announced a new initiative that will allow Vodacom customers to purchase smartphones and gradually reduce their debt over the course of a year.

The partnership was unveiled in Dar es Salaam on May 21, 2024, with Vodacom Tanzania represented by its Head of Sales and Distribution, George L.

This initiative allows Vodacom customers to pay a small amount to own a smartphone and gradually reduce their debt over a year. The event took place at the Vodacom Tanzania headquarters on May 21, 2024, in Dar es Salaam.

“This initiative, the ‘Miliki Simu, Lipa Mdogo Mdogo’ programme, allows Vodacom customers to pay a small amount to own a smartphone,” the telecoms representative said.
