Jennifer Zamparelli becomes the latest presenter to leave 2FM

The broadcaster had been absent from his schedule for several weeks, but station bosses had insisted he would return.

A new blow for the national broadcaster, her departure follows the departure of Doireann Garrihy from the morning slot and the 2 Johnnies from her hosting show.

In a statement, RTÉ said Zamperelli must “hang up the microphone on his daily programme”.

The Dancing With The Stars co-host along with Garrihy presented their own 9-12pm weekday show on RTÉ 2FM since May 2019, and joined the station in February 2014 on Breakfast Republic.
