“The vehicle was later intercepted in Kasubi after being chased by concerned members of the public.”

The driver has been arrested and the body of the deceased has been transported to the Mulago City mortuary for an autopsy.

The police said that due to conflicting statements from eyewitnesses, the matter was referred to the Kajjansi Criminal Investigation Department to determine the exact circumstances that led to the death of the individual.
