Singapore to face Thailand and Malaysia in ASEAN football championship

Vietnam, title winners in 2008 and 2018, will look to improve on their second-place finish in 2022 when they face Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar and Laos in Group B.

The top two finishers in each group will advance to the round-trip semi-finals, with the first leg taking place on December 10 and 11, and the second leg on December 13 and 14.

The finals will be played on December 17 and 21.

Singapore has won the AFF Cup four times: in 1998, 2004, 2007 and 2012.

Under new coach Tsutomu Ogura, the Lions drew 2-2 with China in a World Cup qualifying match in March, before losing 4-1 against the same opponents in the next match.
