England vs Slovenia Player Ratings: More of the same rubbish! Jude Bellingham lacks bite while Conor Gallagher shows he is not the answer in midfield as the Three Lions move to first place in the Euro 2024 group.

Gareth Southgate’s side delivered another dull performance to complete a miserable group stage performance despite finishing first.

A new game, the same old ‘shit’, to quote Gary Lineker. This is the best summation of England’s goalless draw against Slovenia, the third and final installation of an insipid performance in Group C, which they have somehow managed to top.

Gareth Southgate made just one change to his starting eleven and his team put in arguably their weakest performance, barely threatening Slovenia, who wildly celebrated their qualification to the knockout rounds of a major tournament for the first time.

The only positive for the Three Lions was that Denmark failed to beat Serbia, which meant England avoided Germany in the round of 16 and entered the “easier” side of the draw. But, playing so poorly, there is little evidence that the Three Lions can survive, regardless of who they face next.
