Chelsea have fresh FFP concern ahead of £19m transfer as shock approach made to Nicolas Jackson’s partner

Another week awaits Chelsea, and it is important. We are now in the final days before the “first summer transfer window” closes.

This is the June 30 closing date for the 2023/24 Premier League financial accounts and, therefore, the last opportunity to balance the accounts and try to meet profitability and sustainability standards (PSR). Chelsea believe they have done enough.

Looking to the future there is less certainty, but that is a problem for the future. While there hasn’t been any push to bring out Conor Gallagher or Trevoh Chalobah early in the first two opening weeks of the summer market, there is still time for that to happen.

Here, however, has the latest from the world of Chelsea and the transfer window.

Marc Guiu’s proposal

Chelsea have made a formal offer to Barcelona for 19-year-old striker Marc Guiu. After a low-key talk about a week ago that the player was on his radar, Fabrizio Romano says that now all that needs to be made is a final decision on Guiu’s part.

Barcelona have also offered him new terms and Bayern Munich are also in the mix, but at the same time they are pushing for Arsenal’s teenage gem Chido Obi-Martin. As for Guiu, he is said to be debating which direction to take.
